Love the tray idea ~ wish I'd had people like you to give me ideas when my son was younger. I'll have to keep this in mind for when (if) I have grandkids!

Thank again to all!

June Blog Jump

It's time for another blog Jump! Yeah!
The below list of blogs are those of ladies who are participating in our Blog Jump and if you arrived here first, I encourage you to go back up to the start at Julie’s place at My Little Corner, where you will find a wealth of creativity.
You should have arrived here from Cindy’s place at My Lazy Afternoon. Isn’t she amazing?

My project is an altered serving tray. I happen to find this tray at a yard sale and then I altered it to match our theme for this Jump!

If you leave a comment, your name will be entered for a chance to win this RAK. At the end of the hop I draw a name.

And now, for the Jumpin Part, next in line is Crystal! Have fun and I am sure you will be inspired!

Well it was bound to happen and here is the first baby book I have now made. My SOs granddaughter is in town with her new baby, Tyson. So, I have made this for her and I hope she like it. It not to frilly since its for a boy and I purposely kept it simple.

May/June Crafting!!!!

Welcome to my blog....the past couple of weeks I have been working on a couple of altered compostition books with a new technique. On these I used wrinkled paper that has be inked with distressed inks and then cover with glossy accents, sprinkled at bit of glitter on one and used stickles on the other. Once dried I covered the paper with Modpodge, then covered book with the wrinkled paper and added embellishments to complete. I also used a pocket on the inside cover and made tags for the pockets.

I am really liking this technique and I see more of these in my future.

Also, this past week I made some handmade flowers:

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed and let me know what you think!
