Christmas is over and we made it through another year. We went to my borther's house this year. It was great, the weather was good just a little cold. In 2009 we will remember that we lost a few close friends this year and Scruffy was diagnosed with Diabetes. But we have to give thanks for being healthy and having such great friends and family that have shared special moments with us this year.
Here are a few more pictures to finish out the year. These are for a challenge at My Sketch World.

Celebrating the Holidays!
This weekend we were able to visiting some favorite spots that decorate for the holidays. Mom and me went to the Bellagio to check out the xmas decor in their Atrium. Beautiful as usual! This is a great way to document all those thing you do through the holiday season. I am using these photos as part of the December Challenge at MSW. Click to visit My Sketch World.

MSW December Challenge
Here are more photos for the MSW December Challenge. This is a photo of our finished Christmas Tree. We have a small tree since its just the 3 of us, no kids and Tom and I will visit grandchildren so we go out and about for Christmas. This year we are planning to go to Lake Havasu to spent with family.
Here is a photo of our snowman decor we have outside.
Here are two photos of me making a Christmas card.
These are 3 cards I received in the mail yesterday.
More to come as I am finding this is a wonderful way of documenting all those little things we do around the holidays!

Here is my office door decoration, Happy Holidays from a holiday banner swap on CMB. I love the way this banner came out.
I wasn't going to put out little tree as its just the 3 of us (Mom, Me and Tom) and we had decided to go out of town for Christmas to visit family and then just at the last minute started to put it up.
Here I am putting up the navity scene.
Here is our outdoor decorations and our little tree we have out front. Below is Tom and Scruffy standing behind the tree.

Christmas Card Challenge
Last Saturday I joined in on a 1 hour card challenge sponsored by My Sketch World. The challenge was to do six christmas cards in one hour featuring a specific item like a snowman, ribbon, buttons, tree, glitter, etc. I only got four of the sketches done. It was hectic and it was fun. And, we only had 20 minutes to upload our cards to the gallery. Here's the result of that challenge. This was my first challenge at MSW, next time I will be better prepared.
If nothing else, I got some christmas cards done!

The End of Another Month
November came and went so fast. I did manage to get a couple layouts done! I seem to be doing more digital lately. Here's what I managed to get done!
These photos were taken at Tom's granddaughter birthday party. The kids were acting silly as the girls played dressup with the boys and dressed them in hats and dresses.
All I can say is that I am feeling a bit older. Not because I had a birthday or anything but because we had one of those life events that bring family and friends together that you haven't seen in ages. So, we saw some old friends, talk about the good old days and all the good times at the old drinking hole, etc. This is one of the photos from that day. Tom with some of the old gang.

The Scariest Night of the Year
Alrighty then, I'm working on trying to get my mojo back. Here are two layouts I did from Halloween. We gave out candy and thank goodness they cleaned us out. We close down early and spent the next hour with our neighbors, visiting and helping them pass out the treats.
Here, my sister-in-law sent photos of a Halloween party they went to, so I scrapped one of their photos. She is the ghostly bride and her groom and friends.

Happy Halloween to All!
Digital elements I give credit to Katie Pertiet, (Frightful Kit) and Catherine Stewart at Digicat Design for the wonderful halloween journal tag.

Where Did October Go?
I don't know what happened this month, it all just came and went so fast! I do remember Halloween and giving out candy. It seemed like this year the treat or treaters where alot older then usual. But at least they did clean us out of all our candy and I didn't have to snack on left overs. Here's Scruffy wearing his superdog cape.
I didn't do any scrappy pages this month, it just seemed like there was a lot going on, but now I'm feeling the need to get scrappy with it, hopefully soon!
