MSW had another 1 hour crop. This is where they post six sketches and you have 1 hour to finish and then another 20 minutes to post to gallery at their website. These are always somewhat stressful but also fun to do! And, then it also fun to see what others come up with in the time allotted. So here are my cards I did, I only was able to 5 instead of 6:
This photo is of my cousin Patsy, my aunt Pauline and my mom. My aunt just turned 95 years old on the 13th.
And, here is some other scrappy goodness completed this month:
Come join me at MSW for a month long spring crop. There are lots of challenges posted, so come and play at My Sketch World! and, here is my first sketch I finished at this challenge. It is the May 1st Sketch Challenge: and a few more that I got done: The shoes are shown because this challenge was to be based on a fashion item.

April showers bring May flowers. Today in Las Vegas, the weather is not bad as it may hit 80 degrees, now if only the wind would stop, so sick of it. These past couple of weeks, it seems like it cold one day and then it hot the next and its been non-stop windy. I am so ready for the heat, I guess that why I live in the desert.
The STSB Round 8 swap ended on a great note and I have lots to play with thanks to my swap partner. MSW had a 1 hr crop last Friday so I did managed to complete the six challenges and did a couple of extra cards afterwards. I was also able to complete a layout challenge this past week. To finish April, here is some scrappy business I took care of, mostly cards.
Here is the book I received from my sister. In this swap, we were given a word for a day for 30 days and we had to buy or make something that represents that word. I recieved an amazing stash of goodies in which to play with. All my goodies can viewed on the Cricut Messageboard under the STSB 8 thread, around page 115, post #2285. Here's the link: http://www.cricut.com/messageboard/tm.aspx?m=6238405&mpage=115
In addition, my sister send me this amazing book of cricut cuts, each day is represented.
