In Memorium...

Oh wow, this one was hard to do and I kept putting it off. We lost our fur baby on February 22nd and it took me 6 days to get this started. His loss was quite hard on all of us. My morning schedule is all messed up because he not part of it anymore. I finished this yesterday, exactly one week to the day when he went to the Rainbow Bridge. We happen to get his ashes back and I got in the mail the memorial jewelry I had ordered for me and Tom. It seems like it all came together yesterday and helped with coping, we know he will be with us forever.

Thanks for taking a look. Thanks to MSW for the inspiration, I probably wouldn't have done so much and gotten so much scrapbooking completed without Lucy's awesome sketches.

February 2013

It's been awhile since I've posted anything. Holidays came and went really fast and this seems to be happening faster and faster every year. My Sketch World is having a Scrap-A-Thon to celebrate their 7th Year, so I decided to participate and start getting my mojo back and doing some scrappy stuff. I am only going to post the layout and not the cards. I have gone back a few year to find photos for some of the layouts. So here we go:
Sketch #1:

These photo are from our night at a live wrestling event, my SO won tickets to the show which made it extra fun!

Sketch #2:

My SO loves this holiday and tries to scare the neighborhood kids when passing out candy.

Sketch #5:

This photo is from my SO's nephew's wedding.

Sketch #7

Also, from my SO's nephew's wedding.

Sketch #8

This is my mom and her granddaughter together on Xmas about 2 or 3 yrs ago.

Sketch #11

These photos are from the circus we went to this past summer.

Most of these I've used some digital elements and paper along with traditional scrapbooking items. The credit for the digital items need to go to the following: Wild Child Kit by Kimb's Designs; Venice Beach Kit by Lynn Grieveson; Summer Fun Kit by Digi Cyber Scraps, Carolyn S. Ritter; Golden-August Kit by Sausan Designs; Backyard BBQ kit by MandyMade.

Thanks for stopping by and there will be a few more to come. You can check out the Scrap-A-Thon mysketchworld.blogspot.com
